The dentist Vicky Karapetsa has excelled and has received the following awards:
- Article published in the journal of Odontostomatological Progress, Volume 56, Issue 3, Sept. 2002
- Distinction for the presentation of her paper at the 20th National Dental Congress in October 2000, as an undergraduate student
- 1st Prize for best paper entitled: "The habit of thumb sucking and its impact on the Stomatognathic System", in the 8th Scientific Conference of Students of the Dental School of Athens, in September 2000
- Participation as a speaker at the National Paediatric Dentistry Conference in May 2000
